Abie Loy Kemarre is an Eastern Anmatjerra woman and the daughter of Margaret Loy Pula and Granddaughter of Kathleen Petyarre. Her paintings include representations of particular plants and ‘dreamings’, involving ancestral traditions specifically related to life and land of the central desert region.
Major stories include Awelye, Bush plum, Atwelkarr (Button Quail), The Bush Hen Dreaming and Bush Leaves.
