Charlie Egalie Tjapaltjarri
Charlie Egalie Tjapaltjarri was born at Vaughan Springs, northwest of Mt. Leibig c. 1940. Charlie Egalie is one of the first painters of the Aboriginal Art Movement. In 1972; Charlie commenced painting with the encouragement of Johnny Warangkula, Kaapa Tjampitjinpa and Billy Stockman. is works are represented in most majhor Australian Museums as important stories of the Warlpirri People.
Dreamings include: Man Dreaming, Wallaby, Budgerigar and Bushfire Dreaming.
